Freelance Writing

I’ve been freelancing for a while, too many years to count, and have, in the process, written an assortment of material, from feature articles to news stories to pieces on technology. Publications include E Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Honduras Weekly, Mo Magazine, and Suite101. This being the era of the Internet, you can find a lot of my work online:

Project School Supplies Equips Rural Children” Honduras Weekly. October 18, 2010.

The Silent Epidemic” E Magazine. May/June 2007. This article has been turned into an ebook, which I discovered quite accidentally. Unfortunately, I’ve seen none of the proceeds.

For Suite101, I’ve written articles on an assortment of topics, including health care, the environment, HIV/AIDS, and Buddhism. You can see a list of these on my author’s page. And speaking of SEO content mills… I also wrote a couple pieces for Ezine Articles.

And let’s not forget the restaurant reviews I contributed to Hungry? Seattle Family: The Lowdown on Where the Real People Eat!

Also worth pointing out is the fact that a number of my blog posts have appeared on Daily Kos. Since taking an indefinite break from blogging, nothing new has appeared out there for a while.

And, of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention all the articles I’ve written about technology, over 500 at last count. Here are a few of my author pages at a few sites, where you can find a list of my articles:

Simple Talk

TechTarget

Windows IT Pro

The author pages show most of my articles, but not all. I’ve also been writing book reviews for Simple Talk, so those are in there somewhere. And I’ve written for SQL Server Pro, SQL Server Central, and other sites. In addition, I’ve written a bunch of books on technology.
